European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 7 December 2009, De Persgroep Nederland announced it will scrap 130 of the 760 jobs in the Netherlands. The Amsterdam based newspapers De Volkskrant and Trouw will be affected. Forty jobs will be lost in the editorial staff, and another 90 among supporting staff like marketing, client service and advertisement. Earlier, De Persgroep Nederland announced a loss of 185 jobs at the Rotterdam based newspaper AD.
