The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Akademia ozbrojenych sil in Liptovsky Mikulas will dismiss 43 employees by the end of March 2010. About 20% of redundant employees are teachers. According to the Chancellor, Miroslav Kelemen, redundancies are attributed to the internal restructuring of the military academy. They are also related to planned changes in the military education system in Slovakia which should be implemented by the end of 2013.
