Description

In May 2009, mobile network operator Vodafone Hungary created 300 new jobs with the opening of a regional costumer service centre in Miskolc (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County). Vodafone invested HUF 500 million (EUR 1,8 million) in setting up the new centre.

The telecommunication company also initiated a headcount increase at its operations centre in Budapest where another 300 new jobs were created. Vodafone Hungary's business expansion resulted in an overall increase in its workforce by almost 43% from 1,400 to 2,000 employees.
