Description
The defence and security company Saab will dismiss 115 blue-collar workers from its aeronautics and support and service units at its plant in Linköping.
According to the company's press release, only aviation related operations are affected. Negotiations with trade unions will start soon. The measure is due to low profitability in this business area.
Saab had already reduced its workforce in Linköping in 2009 (14835).
Saab Aeronautics serves the global market with products and services ranging from military defence to civil security.
