Description
Vitalis, Germany's largest chain of health food stores employing 650 people, filed for insolvency in October 2009 after several months of dispute between the owner and the new financial investor. The liquidator who started the insolvency procedure on 1 January 2010 is optimistic that a new investor will be found by February. However, the insolvency of the Munich-based company affects 113 stores and a staff of 650. Since October, 17 store have been closed.
