European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lear Corporation, a global leading supplier of automotive seating systems in Palmela, announced the dismissal of 200 workers. The trade union commented that nothing predicted this outcome since the management announced last summer that the problems "were overcome with the launch of three new projects."
