The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
OBI Romania, building materials stores operator, part of the German group Tengelmann, announced the opening in 2010 of two new stores employing 120 people each as a result of an investment of 10 million euro. The new stores are located in Ploiesti (Prahova county, South region) and Sibiu (Sibiu county, Centre region). At the end of 2008, the first year in Romania, the company has 426 employees and reported total sales for 5 million euros.
