Description

Slag Recycling, owner of the Szczakowa Glassworks (Huta Szkła Szczakowa) in Jaworzno, is planning to eliminate 350 jobs out of a workforce of 500; these redundancies will be combined with shutting down of the smelting division. The local labour office has been notified accordingly, and the redundancies process has been underway since late August 2009.
