European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Primark/Penneys, an Irish clothing retailer, will recruit at least 200 employees for its first Belgian discounter in Liège that will open its door on 1 December 2009. The company also has branches in Great Britain, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands. According to Primark's CEO, the opening of further branches in Belgium depends on the success of the store in Liège.
