European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
SkyEurope Airlines, a significant Central-European low-cost carrier, is to dismiss about 500 people in Bratislava. Due to long-term inability to cover its operational costs, SkyEurope has been in restructuring process under supervision of a court since June 2009. According to the airline's CEO, Nick Manoudakis, about 500 employees will be dismissed.
