European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Meat processing company Tulip is to open a new sausage manufacturing factory on Merseyside creating 270 new jobs. The company has announced a £12m investment in the site and hopes to be producing sausages in early 2010. Ealier this year the company closed its sliced meat operation in the area cutting 300 jobs.
No details were given of the proposed opening date.
