European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swebus announced the dismissal of 150 drives as a result of the loss of a tender for local public transport in Gävle. Swebus´agreement will expire in June 2010, and most dismissals will be realized this December, since many employees have contracts of employment with six months notice.
The new entrepreneur will probably need the same number of drivers for the local public transport, which opens a possibility for the 150 drivers to perform the same work for a different employer.
