European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Swedish domestic appliance manufacturer Electrolux has announced that it will be closing its Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) factory in 2011. The company has 450 staff there. The closure will be completed during the first quarter of 2011 and will involve an expenditure of around 440 million Swedish crowns (approximately 43 million euro).
