Description

Pivaudran, a producer of metal bottles for perfumes and cosmetics, has announced the loss of 112 jobs out of a total 287 in Souillac-sur-Dordogne between October and November 2009. The redundancies are part of a restructuring plan that was announced by the company's CEO. Restructuring is necessary due to a drop in orders and competition from Asian companies. In August 2009, the commercial court of Cahors decided to place Pivaudran under safeguard procedure.
