Description

Alcoa Howmet, a US manufacturer of turbine airfoils, announced plans to cut up tp 95 jobs in Exeter. The cuts were blamed on a 'big decline in orders'. Unite the union said that they would try to reduce the number of compulsory redundancies. As of November 2009 no date has been given for the implementation of the cuts.
