Description

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has announced that it is to cut around 400 jobs in the next 5 months. The hospital is facing a £7m shortfall in predicted income, and plans to reduce staff numbers form part of the cost reduction strategy. The losses are on top of 277 posts that have already been lost within the hospital since April 2009. The hospital has committed to maintaining staff numbers within critical areas such as intensive care.
