Description
JDF Logistics, a haulage company based in Barnsley, is to close with the loss of 114 jobs. The company went into administration last month after experiencing cashflow problems which it attributed to the economic downturn. Administrators attempted to sell the business, but were unsuccessful. The business is in the process of being closed down over the course of the next 3 weeks, and staff are being laid off as their roles become redundant.
