Description
Stoke on Trent city council has announced that 240 jobs are to be cut. The council has indicated that it needs to save between £5m and £12m. It has revealed that if 240 staff take voluntary redundancy £578,000 would be saved in the financial year 2009-2010 and £5.4 m in the financial year 2010-2011.
