European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Danish biotech company Genmab, based in Copenhagen, announced 300 dismissals worldwide, mostly in research and manufacturing. The move is part of a broader restructuring effort to cut €130 million in annual costs, as the company shifts more development work to outside contractors. Job losses will occur in Minnesota, USA (between 130 and 170) and Copenhagen (120).
