Description
Tobacco company House of Prince, the main provider of cigarets to Scandinavian countries, is to close its production site on Tobacco Road in Søborg outside Copenhagen, where 466 employees will be made redundant. The owner, British American Tobacco, intends to expand production to other European countries. 150 employees will remain in the commercial department in Søborg where the company headquarters for the Northern region are located. The production will be reduced gradually and the factory will close by the end of 2011.
