European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
DHL, the mail delivery group of Deutsche Post, will cut another 200 jobs because of the bankruptcy of German mail-order retailer Quelle. In September, DHL had already announced the cutting of 560 jobs in response to the insolvency of Arcandor, Quelle's mother company (se related fact sheet 14571). These job cuts have already been enacted. This job cutting plan refer to the delivery service of Quelle's catalogue.
