Description

Legris, a French manufacturer of fluid circuit components and systems for pneumatic, hydraulic, and chemical processing applications, has announced that it is to cut 145 jobs between October 2008 and December 2009. 45 jobs will be reduced through voluntary departures. The management blamed the job losses on the company's deteriorated performance as sales dropped by 40% in the first nine months of 2009. Parker Hannifin bought Legris in 2008.
