European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lasselsberger, a ceramic wall tiles producer, is to cut 220 jobs with the closure of two plants (RAKO 1 and RAKO 2) in Rakovník by the end of 2009 due to a sharp decline in customer orders. The whole production will be centralised in a single facility (RAKO 3) where a new technology production line has been established since the beginning of October 2009.
