Description

MAC Metallurgica, a company which produces panels for the automotive sector, is to close its plant located at Brescia, with the consequent loss of 154 jobs. According to the Magnetto group, i.e. the owner of MAC, the production of the Brescia plant should be relocated to the company's plants located at Chivasso, in the province of Turin. Magnetto group is one of the world's automotive metal forming suppliers, producing upper and lower body structures, inner and outer panels, doors and lids systems. It has 14 plants and 3 R&D centres worldwide, with around 1,500 employees.
