European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Furniture company Dams International has been placed in administration and 245 jobs are to be lost across the UK. The company blamed a significant fall in turnover as a result of the economic crisis. Whilst the firm engaged in earlier restructuring it was unable to manage its cash flow which resulted in administrators being appointed. No date has been offered for the job losses.
