European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Grupa Handlowa Emperia (Emperia Trading Group) plans to dismiss 340 people (out of a total workforce of 4600) by the end of 2009. The Emperia Trading Group is one of the largest trading groups in Poland engaging in the retail and wholesale of food products, cosmetics, and household chemistry products. The Emperia Trading Group distributes FMCG products through a chain of Cash&Carry locations and Distribution Centres throughout Poland.
