European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish manufacturer of poultrymeat products, Tulip Food Company under Danish Crown, is closing its factory in Sdr. Borup, making 170 employees redundant. They were informed about the closure at a meeting with the management 28 August 2009. The factory will stop the production at the end of December. Tulip will then have six factories left in Denmark, two in Germany and one in Sweden employing around 2,000 persons.
