European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Norwegian tele company Telenor, which recently took over two tele companies in Denmark, is firing 125 employees among staff and management in the new company, Telenor Denmark, headquartered in Copenhagen. In a press release 24 August 2009 the management explains that the restructuring is necessary in order to get a more flexible and effective organisation.
