Description
In August 2009, the French group Carrefour opened a new supermarket in Jastrzębie Zdrój, hiring 300 people by the end of August. Carrefour's Polish retail network comprises 80 large supermarkets, over 200 smaller supermarkets, and a network of neighbourhood stores. Carrefour's Polish operations employ a total of approximately 23,000 people.
