First Minister Alex Salmond has said "Its [Capita's] decision to expand its operations, particularly in the current economic climate, demonstrates the company's confidence in the Scottish economy and the high quality financial services expertise Scotland has to offer."
No details were given on numbers currently employed by the company or the date by which the job creations are expected to be completed.
