Description

Marcopolo, a Brazilian producer of bus bodies, announced that it will close its plant in Coimbra and dismiss 180 workers by mid September 2009. The management met with Coimbra trade unions and stated that it will respect the workers' rights and provide compensation payments workers are entitled to.
