European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Akuma, a car storage battery manufacturer with 100-year-old tradition, has announced 200 job losses with the closure of the site in Mladá Boleslav due to a sharp decline of customer orders. The foreign owner of the plant from Italian Fiamm Group also confirmed the decision to close one of two sites in Italy and concentrate the production in only one Italian plant.
