Uztel Ploiesti, a Romanian manufacturer of machinery for petroleum extraction, announced the dismissal of 466 employees beginning on 1 November 2009. The turnover of the company decreased in the first quarter of 2009, and the company earned half the profit as it did in the same period in 2008.
