Description

On 24 August 2009, ABB High Voltage Cables, which manufactures cables, cable accessories and services for cable applications, announced it will eliminate 55 jobs at its location in Karlskrona. The reason for dismissals is that a large project is ending and that no new projects are planned. Negotiations will take place between social parties but there is no set time frame when the dismissals will be enacted. The company has no plans of making further dismissals or cutting down other production units.
