The restructuring affects altogether 370 persons (Karlskoga: 148, Eskilstuna:84, Linköping 115 and Göteborg 23). According to the press note, it is possible that Saab Bofors will give further notices. The Saab Group announces that the swedish government has changed their defence strategy, which also affects material maintenance and therefore Saab cannot expect any bigger development projects from the Swedish defence department within its business area. Saab Bofors Dynamics is a subsidiary of Saab AB that specializes in defense materiel such as missile systems and anti-tank systems.
