Description
Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, is to cut 206 jobs at its plant located at Bari (2,200 employees). The redundant workers will benefit of an 'extra-ordinary' Wage Guarantee Fund (CIGS) two-year scheme. The trade unions asked to meet the management in order to find adequate solutions to avoid the redundancies at the end of the CIGS scheme. Moreover, the trade unions are worried about the future of Bari plant.
Bosch operates in the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods, and building technology. The group has around 280,000 employees worldwide and around 5,494 in Italy.
