Description
Skanska CZ, a construction group with headquarters in Sweden, has announced the revised number of job losses that is about 1,200 (instead of previously announced 212) to be implemented in the period between April 2009 and December 2010. Skanska currently employs approximately 6,800 people. The laid-off workers will be given severance pay amounting up to 6 monthly wages. General Manager, Dan Ťok, said that the workforce reduction is one of the major restructuring measures helping to reduce operation costs and increase labour productivity in the period of economic crisis.
