Description
On 26 July 2009, Singulus, a manufacturer of Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD devices, announced to cut 190 out of 700 jobs worldwide. Job cuts are part of a restructuring programme dealing with the negative impact of the global economic crisis. The company's revenue for the first half of 2009 shrunk to 67.1 million euro (compared to the prior-year total of 81.3 million euro). Details on timelines or affected sites have not been released so far.
