Description

Arcelor Mittal Ostrava, a subsidiary of the world´s largest steel company, is to lay off a further 300 workers out of approximately 6,000 staff within a couple of weeks. As it has been reported earlier the company already cut about 1,000 jobs since the beginning of 2009 (see fact sheet No 13080).
