European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Arcelor Mittal Ostrava, a subsidiary of the world's largest steel company, is to lay off a further 300 workers out of approximately 6,000 staff within a couple of weeks. As it has been reported earlier the company already cut about 1,000 jobs since the beginning of 2009 (see fact sheet No 13080).
