European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
MAN Bus, the producer of buses and trucks, plans to cut approximately 400 jobs at its factory in Starachowice by the end of 2009. The redundancies will affect all the professions within the bus division and in the operation maintenance units (technical services, machine repairs, mechanical tooling).
MAN's operates two factories in Poland, in Starachowice and in Poznan, employing 3,500 workers.
