Description

Tulip Foods, a meat processing company which announced 90 jobs were at risk in Cornwall last year, is now planning to recruit an additional 100 workers. The company said it had avoided the need to cut any jobs by natural wastage, reorganising shifts, additional productivity and seeking new orders. An increase in demand for its products has lead to the need for new staff. The company is hoping that local workers will fill the vacancies, all of which will be permanent.  No details were given on when the posts would be filled.
