European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Silesia colliery Czechowice-Dziedzice (owned by Kompania Węglowa) is about to be liquidated; over 800 workers are at risk of losing their jobs. At present, the colliery is racking up losses of PLN 7-9 million every month.
