Description
Shoe manufacturer Mebona Bőripari Kft closed down its facility in Bonyhád, dismissing 186 workers. 161 employees were dismissed immediately, while 17 women on maternity leave will be dismissed after their leaves have ended. The closure was the result of stock build up in Germany, driven by falling demand, which made the company's German partner withhold expected contracts.
