Description
On 31 October 2008, Ceska Posta (Czech Post) reviewed its restructuring plan and announced 1,500 job losses by the end of 2008. The plan initially involved the loss of 2,500 jobs out of a total of 37,000. Dismissals will affect mainly employees in administration and management. The measures are taken to maintain competition in the market liberalization process.
