Description
Qinvest, a large investment bank, has created 2000 new jobs through its purchase of a shipyard in Gdynia, Poland.
On 30 June 2009, the Polish Minister of the Treasury announced the identity of the investor purchasing the Gdynia shipyard (Stocznia Gdynia) - Qinvest, the largest investment bank in Qatar. The new investor has undertaken to hire 2,000 workers for the shipyard by late 2009; they are expected to build three or four liquefied gas tankers every year.
