Description
The Romanian subsidiary of the Italian bank Intesa SanPaolo is to create 1,000 jobs. In a first phase of the business expansion - starting in September 2009 - approximately 700 jobs will be created with the opening of a new regional centre for East Europe in Brasov. In a second phase, another 300 employees will be hired. The job creation will be completed by November 2010. The total investment is worth some EUR 30 million. In 2008 the gross profit of the company in Romania was EUR 5 million.
