The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Elkjop Nordic, a retailer of electrical goods, has given notice to its 230 employees as the company has decided to start negotiations to close all PC city stores in Sweden.
PC city is part of Elkjop Nordic, which is owned by DSG International Ltd - one of Europe's biggest companies within sale in retails. PC City sells computers, televisions, cell phones and other domestic goods.
