The consultancy firm Semcon has given notice to 300 of its employees in Sweden, with the Trollhättan and Göteborg sites incurring most of the job losses. This is due to a lack of demand among its customers, which are mainly from the automobile industry. The company designs and develops products mainly for the automobile industry.
