European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The producer of trucks Volvo Truck has started to dismiss about 100 people (out of a total workforce of 250) from its factory in Długołęka by Wrocław. The redundancies will last until the end of 2009. The rest of the workers have agreed to work 12 hours per day and, in the case of a fall in orders, to have free days from work.
