Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

WSK PZL Rzeszów, the producer of components and engines for the aviation industry, plans to cut 260 jobs by the end of 2009. The redundancies would have been more extensive - with original plans calling for 350 - were it not for the success of other cost-cutting measures. These included an 11-day unpaid leave for some employees and a pay increase considerably smaller than that guaranteed in the collective agreement.
